Then go to the official website bpssc.bihar.gov.in and on the Apply Online link for Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment to apply. Register with your e-mail ID and mobile number and then enter basic details like name, date of birth and address. 

Step 2: Pay the Application Fee

The application fee is only ₹100 for all categories, including male, female, and transgender candidates. You have the option to pay by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

Paper I: General Hindi is Preliminaries level to be computed from the following items: grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms and sentence correction. You get 2 hours.

Paper II: General Studies is the second and lengthier paper assessing your knowledge in a wide array of subjects namely Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, General Science, Economics, Current Affairs, and Mathematics with Mental Ability. This paper also duration of two hours.

All in all, you would be taking 200 questions from both the papers, carrying 400 marks altogether. The qualifying nature of mains is merit based and about 6 times the number of vacancies are called for the physical test.
