Candidates who have taken the UGC NET exam to secure a career as Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellows, and admission to PhD programs can check their results on the official website once it is released.

To qualify, the National Testing Agency has set some rules – 40% marks is the least to qualify for this exam by general category candidates. However, a minimum of 35% marks is needed to qualify for the UGC NET exam if you belong to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD category.

Candidates who are eligible for the post can apply when the application portal gets open between 27 October 2026 to 25 November 2026.   • General/OBC/EWS: ₹500

What Are The Medical Standards for Station Master

A candidate must be good and fit to apply as station master. The Station Master requires A-2 medical standard so make sure you have:
