You need a bachelor’s degree with Psychology as a subject, or a bachelor’s degree plus a B.Ed. or Bachelor of Teaching. One is enough. A history graduate with a B.Ed. is eligible. A BA Psychology graduate can also apply without a teaching qualification. Final-year students don’t, because the degree must be completed by the closing date.

The age band is 20 to 25 years as on 27 October 2026. That is narrower than the usual 18 to 25 for ITBP constable posts.
