RRB Technician Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The RRB Technician admit card is expected to be issued approximately four days before the individual examination date. Candidates whose exam is scheduled on 6 October may receive the admit card around 2 October, while candidates appearing on later dates should check the portal accordingly.
The admit card will generally contain:

Download your slip today and confirm your city and date. Book travel now if the city is far, since 6 October is close. Then check your regional RRB site daily from 2 October, download the admit card the moment it appears, and verify photo and ID details.
The RRB Technician city slip tells you your allotted exam city and date for the Computer Based Test (CBT), which runs from 6 to 9 October 2026 and covers 6,557 Technician Grade I Signal and Grade III vacancies. What it does not give you is your exact centre. That comes later, with the admit card.
